(he/him/his) I am an award-winning filmmaker, editor and animator based in Chicago, IL. As a director of animated documentaries, I use the unique qualities of the animated form to enliven stories of personal and historical memory. My films have played in major film festivals, including the Chicago International Film Festival, Hot Springs Documentary Festival, and Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.

I’ve edited videos for numerous museums, including the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

I was the Assistant Editor on the short film, The Neighbors’ Window, winner of the 2020 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short. I was also post-production assistant on A Night at the Garden, nominated for the 2019 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.

I have an MFA in Documentary Media from Northwestern University, and a degree in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College.
